Directions to the GAR Hall
The Civil War Veterans Museum is located at 910 First Corso. You will enter Nebraska City driving north on Eleventh Street. Continue north through the Fourth Corso stop light and approach the east-west main street (Central Avenue) where there is
another stop light. You will turn east (right) on First Corso, one block south of this Central Avenue stop light. On the north (left) is the Otoe County Detention Center and Courthouse. Proceed one block east and you will see the Nebraska City Middle School on the south (right). The Civil War Veterans Museum is on the north (left) side of the street.
If coming from the west on Highway 2:
The Civil War Veterans Museum is located at 910 First Corso. You will enter Nebraska City driving east on Fourth Corso. At the first stop light you come to in town (Eleventh Street), turn north. Go three blocks and turn east (right) on First Corso, one block south of the Central Avenue stop light. On the north (left) is the Otoe County Detention Center and Courthouse. Proceed one block east and you will see the Nebraska City Middle School on the south (right). The Civil War Veterans Museum is on the north (left) side of the street.
